Stop the CLARITY Act
The Senate will be back in session for a few weeks before taking off again until after the midterm elections. One of the few pieces of major legislation that will be considered is the CLARITY Act, a cryptocurrency bill that actually loosens regulations and does not address corruption (such as Trump making $1.4 billion with his crypto scam). A cloture vote is scheduled for September 15, which requires 60 votes for the bill to move to the floor.
Call your Senators and encourage them to vote NO. You can use democracy.io to send an email to both Senators simultaneously.

Oppose Rescinding the Roadless Rule
The USDA wants to erase the Roadless Rule - the one protection keeping new roads and logging out of 62,000 acres of the Superior National Forest in the Boundary Waters. There are no public hearings anywhere in the Lower 48. Written comments are the only way your voice enters the record, and the window to comment closes on September 21st.
Voice your opposition to rescinding the 2001 Roadless Rule, then add one honest paragraph about a place you've paddled, fished, or hunted. That personal detail is what carries legal weight. The agency must respond to substantive comments, and they become part of the record if this issue ends up in court, which is near certain. Friends of the Boundary Waters has a plain-English guide.
