Indivisible Twin Cities, a local chapter of national Indivisible, is building a peaceful and nonviolent movement of citizens dedicated to increasing civic engagement, committed to dismantling authoritarianism, and supporting a nation where housing is affordable, healthcare is a guaranteed right, elections are fair, justice is upheld, and people are free. Together, we strive to create inclusive, thriving communities and a healthy democracy.

how to get involved
-

Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to simply show up. Be it a rally, a speaker event, writing postcards to our reps and more, we organize informative, fun and easy ways to make our voices heard. Attend an event and get to know your neighbors.
-

You can be as active as your own time permits. Whether it’s helping to organize speaker events, designing banners for a rally, researching upcoming legislation, writing letters to the editor and more, every volunteer effort can make a difference in our community.
-

Our representatives need to hear from us! In order to hold our elected representative accountable, we create easy Calls to Action (CTA) supporting our legislative goals at the federal, state, and local level. Make your voice heard by clicking our CTA link below.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years: Democracy is for the people who get out and vote! Our Democracy Tool Kit page has everything you need to know about voting in Minnesota: how to register, where to vote, and so much more. Check it out!

Indivisible Twin Cities-sponsored door knocks for Peggy Flanagan. We need a senator from Minnesota who will forcefully stand up to the Trump regime, a leader who will “fight for the many not the money”. The primary election is fast approaching, and the midterms are just around the corner. Note: Event location is private, and will become available after registering for the event.
Saturday, August 8 -Register here.
All Saturdays in August, 10am CD1 Deep Canvassing
Come join us! CD1 is our best chance in MN to flip a seat to defeat the pro-ICE majority in the US House. Deep canvassing is the best proven tactic to move votes. Canvassers will receive a deep canvassing training on site prior to knocking doors. Our team will coordinate ride share informally for anyone that needs one. We are focusing on South Central MN, primarily Faribault, Mankato, and Saint Peter. Join us!
Rebecca and I, as co-leaders of ITC, would like to thank each and every one of our amazing, dedicated volunteers and leaders. Those who have been with us since the beginning offer experience and institutional knowledge that keeps the organization focused on why we do this work in the first place. Those who have joined us over the past year have brought new ideas, new experiences and new voices to our cause and have added a vibrancy that inspires us all.
Let's be honest, 2025 was a new kind of awful. 2026 will not be easy. We will stay the course and keep fighting for the future and common good of all of us.
