Indivisible Twin Cities, a local chapter of national Indivisible, is a grassroots group of volunteers dedicated to increasing civic engagement and education on progressive policies at the city, state and national level. We encourage civic engagement by organizing informative actions and events to spotlight issues and candidates who support our values of strengthening our democracy and defeating the MAGA authoritarian agenda.

TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Indivisible Twin Cities (ITC) is group of metro area neighbors from Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding first-ring suburbs. You’re invited to join us as we work toward a just, equitable, thriving, and inclusive community, state and country.

how to get involved

  • Show up

Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to simply show up. Be it a rally, a speaker event, writing postcards to our reps and more, we organize informative, fun and easy ways to make our voices heard. Attend an event and get to know your neighbors.

  • get involved

You can be as active as your own time permits. Whether it’s helping to organize speaker events, designing banners for a rally, researching upcoming legislation, writing letters to the editor and more, every volunteer effort can make a difference in our community.

  • Act

Our representatives need to hear from us! In order to hold our elected representative accountable, we create easy Calls to Action (CTA) supporting our legislative goals at the federal, state, and local level. Make your voice heard by clicking our CTA link below.

  • VOTE

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years: Democracy is for the people who get out and vote! Our Democracy Tool Kit page has everything you need to know about voting in Minnesota: how to register, where to vote, and so much more. Check it out!

Upcoming events

  • Indivisible Twin Cities All Member Meeting, Thurs, Jan 23, 7PM Ct, 2025 MN Legislative Preview, on colorful background

    Thurs, jan 23, 7pm ct

Whether you've been with us for a while or are just beginning your search for an activist home, you're invited! We'll be checking in to see how everyone is feeling, sharing ways to stay engaged, and information on upcoming events.

Plus Special Guest Speakers! Representatives from the MN Legislature will bring us up to speed on the swirl of the Special Elections, and what to expect this year at the Capitol.

  • stop the mn gop coup, monday, jan 27 - 11:30am, mn state capitol st. paul

    mon, jan 27, 11:30AM CT

The MN Republicans are engaged in a legislative coup at our State Capitol to throw out an election they lost, rollback freedoms and rights for workers and families, and take power from the people and give it to the rich and powerful. Minnesotans voted for equal numbers of DFL and Republican state reps, but the MAGA MN GOP are using a temporary one-vote advantage to illegitimately seize control of the MN House for the NEXT TWO YEARS. Join us to STAND UP and STAND OUT for election integrity and voter's voices.

  • Indivisible Twin Cities Action Hour

    Tues, Jan 28, 6:30pm

Come make your voices heard during the Indivisible Twin Cities Action Hour when we meet online to contact our elected officials on upcoming legislative priorities and urgent Calls to Action.

We provide researched topics on key issues, ready-to-use scripts for calls or emails, quick links to find your representative' contact info, & a fun, easy way to make your voice heard at the Capitol.
