Vote!

During Metro Surge, many of us marched in the streets and formed community teams to support our neighbors. Now, the most powerful way we can stand up for the community is by voting for candidates who will work for change.

If you haven't already voted, please cast your ballot by Tuesday, August 11th, Minnesota's Primary Day.

To see all the details about your polling place location and hours, plus what's on your ballot, visit the MN Secretary of State website.

This Is an Election Like No Other — Three Counties Need You Now

We've built county election defense teams across Greater Minnesota, but Stearns, Benton, and Scott counties still need help. All three are highly vulnerable — facing some mix of large BIPOC populations whose votes need protection, authoritarian tendencies in county government, or active ICE contracts. These are exactly the places independent citizen monitors matter most.

If you live in one of these counties, have a cabin or second home there, or know someone who does, please act now. Team members research local issues, attend county board meetings, write letters to the editor, observe polling places, monitor ballot counting, and witness certification. This work is nonpartisan, legal, and essential.

Do not wait. Here is how to sign up:

  • Fill out the We Choose Us intake form and include your Greater Minnesota address. You will be contacted about orientation and connected with your county team.

  • Reach out to us directly and we will get you to the right people fast.

The general election is just around the corner… and every day counts.

Sign the Healthcare Petition

Minnesotans across race, class and geography deserve quality health care for themselves and their loved ones. This key value of Minnesotans is being threatened by two major hospital acquisitions being considered in Minnesota: North Memorial Health by Sanford Health, and Allina Health by Sutter Health.

Fill out this petition if you are concerned.

Whether you’re an Allina patient or not, this merger is about the cost of healthcare statewide in MN. Corporate consolidation of power in healthcare will only exacerbate the healthcare crisis we face here.

Join Isaiah and other community members for a day of action to express our concerns and publicly demand answers on how this merger would tangibly address healthcare affordability in MN!
