Tell your Operation Metro Surge Story
The Minnesota Truth Council is an independent, nonpartisan body that will create a historical record of survivor and witness experiences from Operation Metro Surge and produce a report with recommendations for legislative and policy reform.
The Council will document:
The human rights violations resulting from the surge, including physical, psychological, familial, economic, and civic harm; and
How Minnesotans showed up for one another with compassion, courage, and resilience.
They want to hear from everyone, and your story can be shared anonymously.

Your Story, Your Power
Speaking of stories, from Pro-Choice Minnesota: “We know that the most powerful political movements don’t start in the Capitol, they start with you. Your story is enough to spark change, shift hearts, and inspire action.” This video training, “Your Story, Your Power: How to Be Politically Active Through Storytelling” is a great resource for all of us to use our own experiences to make political change.
