Indivisible Twin Cities, a local chapter of national Indivisible, is a grassroots group of volunteers dedicated to increasing civic engagement and education on progressive policies at the city, state and national level. We encourage civic engagement by organizing informative actions and events to spotlight issues and candidates who support our values of strengthening our democracy and defeating the MAGA authoritarian agenda.

  • Indivisible Twin Cities (ITC) is group of metro area neighbors from Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding first-ring suburbs. You’re invited to join us as we work toward a just, equitable, thriving, and inclusive community, state and country.

    We are a local chapter of the national Indivisible movement, is a grassroots group of volunteers dedicated to increasing civic engagement and education on progressive policies at the city, state and national level. We encourage civic engagement by organizing informative actions and events to spotlight issues and candidates who support our values of strengthening our democracy and defeating the MAGA authoritarian agenda.

  • On a large scale, everything we do is contributing to building a non-violent and peaceful movement, sustained over time (as long as it takes) that will in the short term defeat the MAGA regime, and in the long term position is for communities where We employ a variety of tactics:

    - Educational sessions on a variety of topics: healthcare, the legislative process,

    - Organize protests and rallies, either on our own or in coalition with

    - Provide

    - Build relationships with elected officials and advocate for issues we care about.

    - Elect fighters to office at all levels of government - people who understand fully the moment we are in and are willing to meet the challenges we face.

  • We are strong believers in the idea that everyone has a role to play in strengthening our democracy and fighting for the things we believe in. Whether you have a little bit of time or a lot, we invite you to join us.

    Maybe you can do a little more:

    - Attend one of our twice monthly Action Hours and learn to make your voice heard in collaboration with others

    - Watch our Events page and sign up for an educational session that interests you. Just a little time, no homework involved, and you will learn something.

    And if you have 5 or more hours a week to dedicate:

    - Join an issue-focused Action Team

    - Write for our weekly newsletter or Substack

    - Help us with social media

    - Join one of the teams dedicated to Rapid Response, Communications, Event Planning or Calls to Action

  • Show up

    Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to simply show up. Be it a rally, a speaker event, writing postcards to our reps and more, we organize informative, fun and easy ways to make our voices heard. Attend an event and get to know your neighbors.

  • get involved

    You can be as active as your own time permits. Whether it’s helping to organize speaker events, designing banners for a rally, researching upcoming legislation, writing letters to the editor and more, every volunteer effort can make a difference in our community.

  • Act

    Our representatives need to hear from us! In order to hold our elected representative accountable, we create easy Calls to Action (CTA) supporting our legislative goals at the federal, state, and local level. Make your voice heard by clicking our CTA link below.
