This would be an area for regular updates (quarterly? monthly? weekly?)

Indivisible Twin Cities, a local chapter of national Indivisible, is a grassroots group of volunteers dedicated to increasing civic engagement and education on progressive policies at the city, state and national level. We encourage civic engagement by organizing informative actions and events to spotlight issues and candidates who support our values of strengthening our democracy and defeating the MAGA authoritarian agenda.

TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

TEXT the word PLEDGE to 30319

In the event of the Trump regime sending troops into the Twin Cities, or other equally severe assaults on our democracy by the administration, text the word PLEDGE to 30319 to join our Pledge of Resistance Rapid Response texting initiative.

ways to be involved

  • democracy toolkit

Our Democracy Tool Kit gives you the ability to make your voice heard. It has everything you need to know about voting in Minnesota: registration, locations, and much more. It also connects you with those we have chosen to represent us. Check it out!

  • Act

Our representatives need to hear from us! In order to hold our elected representative accountable, we create easy Calls to Action (CTA) supporting our legislative goals at the federal, state, and local level. Make your voice heard by clicking our CTA link below.

  • VOTE

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years: Democracy is for the people who get out and vote! And the coming election is ITC’s most important project … it will be AN ELECTION LIKE NO OTHER! Help with our CAMPAIGNS and ELECTION DEFENSE.

  • Show up

Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to simply show up. Be it a rally, a speaker event, a city counsel meeting and more, we organize informative, fun and easy ways to make our voices heard. Check out our many projects and get involved.

Thursday, June 11, 7 – 8:15pm CDT

We are so pleased to have special guest Anat Shenker-Osorio join us for what will be an informative and inspirational session. Join us to learn why Anat is one of the foremost political strategists and messaging consultants in the U.S.

She examines why certain messages falter while others deliver. She’s led research for new and effective messaging on a range of issues. Anat will guide us in techniques for talking with our friends, family and neighbors about the upcoming election and mobilizing people to not just vote, but to defend our election.

Everyone is welcome - whether you consider yourself a “member” of ITC or not!

Rebecca and I, as co-leaders of ITC, would like to thank each and every one of our amazing, dedicated volunteers and leaders. Those who have been with us since the beginning offer experience and institutional knowledge that keeps the organization focused on why we do this work in the first place. Those who have joined us over the past year have brought new ideas, new experiences and new voices to our cause and have added a vibrancy that inspires us all.

Let's be honest, 2025 was a new kind of awful. 2026 will not be easy.  We will stay the course and keep fighting for the future and common good of all of us.

Lisa Erbes, Indivisible Twin Cities Co-leader with Rebecca Larson
