• Connect with our on-line Democracy Action Hub to find opportunities for getting involved between now and Election Day. Will you commit to taking action in at least one way? (or two even?)
• Sign the Pledge of Resistance. Text the word PLEDGE to 30319 and commit to turning out in mass mobilization if called on in the event of election sabotage. We need to get ready!

Demand Accountability and Oversight for ICE Detention
Inhumane treatment and medical neglect are rife throughout ICE’s detention system. So far this year, at least 27 people have died in ICE custody or within 30 days of being released. ICE has released some detainees when they are very ill and they have died shortly after.
CoreCivic is well known for its abusive detention practices, including sexual and physical abuse, medical neglect, excessive use of solitary confinement, and deprivation of food and water. The company also coerces detained immigrants into performing many day-to-day maintenance tasks of the camp through threats of punishment or loss of basic necessities.
Urge Minnesota's Congressional delegation to conduct oversight visits at the Prairie Detention Center.

We Vote Together
Friday, Oct. 23 & 30, 12 – 2 pm
In response to the dangerous rhetoric from federal officials, Minnesotans are gathering outside local mosques during Friday prayer to show support and look out for our neighbors. After prayer, Minnesotans will enjoy tea and sambusas, then go together to the polls to vote.
Visit your local mosque during Friday prayers to stand in support of our Muslim neighbors. Register to let us know you’re coming.
Bring a vest, a whistle, and a sign.
After Friday prayers, join others planning to vote by going to the polls together. Rides will be available.
