  • The Voting and Democracy Action Team works on issues that help maintain our democracy.  Voting and elections is a major part of our mission.  The team leads ITC’s candidate endorsement program, researching candidates and identifying which candidate best represents ITC’s overall mission.  We also help organize actions in support of candidates, such as social media or door knocking campaigns.  The “Democracy” half of the team mission relates to actions that help to maintain our fragile democracy.  These actions vary, from getting a resolution defending the U. S. Constitution passed by the St. Paul City Council, to calls to action to fight the SAVE America Act, the Iran War, or funding for ICE.

  • The Gender and Reproductive Action Team focuses its work on protecting both gender and reproductive freedom. We monitor what is happening both locally and federally, creating calls to action when legislation threatens either of these freedoms.  We partner with other organization to support and highlight their work around common goals i.e. passage of the ERA in MN. We are currently researching how to use story telling as a vehicle to educate about gender and reproductive justice. Team

  • The Healthcare Action Team is a group of volunteers who advocate at the state and federal level for comprehensive healthcare for all.  We work to achieve this goal through advocacy, education and community organizing. We host educational sessions, collaborate with groups that align with our goals and build relationships with legislators to advocate for all Minnesotans.
