Early Voting

Friday, June 26 marks the first day of early voting in person for the August 11 Primary.

Early voting for the primaries has already started. Are you registered to vote? If not, it’s easy!

Are you planning on voting early? There are two ways to do that. One way is early absentee voting which allows you, starting June 26, to vote early, either by mail or in person by: a) requesting an absentee ballot online, then mailing in your completed ballot, or b) going to your voting location, filling out an absentee ballot application, filling out your ballot, and handing it in right there.

A second way is early (in-person) voting. Starting July 24, you can go to your voting location, receive and fill out a ballot, and put it directly into the ballot tabulator – the same as you would on election day. Please note that voting schedule and rules at your precinct may vary – for info contact your county election office.

Voting early is a good way to frustrate any attempts to interfere with the elections. If you want government to represent YOU, the first step is to vote in the primaries.
