Call To Action: Find a Protest

Find a protest to attend at Mobilize Us or the Women’s March Minnesota Action Fund Calendar. Both list events, petitions, and volunteer opportunities.

For inspiration and instruction, read Timothy Snyder’s pamphlet On Tyranny or Hannah Arendt’s Crises of the Republic, a collection of essays on civil disobedience, politics, and revolution.

Call To Action: Provide Feedback on Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance Proposal

Provide feedback by July 13 on the Regulations.gov page. Search for docket OMB-2026-0034 and click on the “Comment” button. Explain how the proposed changes would affect programs you care about. Personalize your comment with examples illustrating the harm the rule will cause.

Check out Stand Up for Science’s campaign. Use their comment form and participate in their July 13 rally.

Call To Action: Stop the Crypto Grift

Contact your senator to register your complaint opposing the legislation effectively legalizing the crypto-fueled bribery machine.

You can contact your senator by filling out the form found here

Call To Action: Stop Funding the Iran War

Trump's unauthorized, unprovoked war in Iran has cost the lives of U.S. service members and thousands of civilians in Iran and across the Middle East. Even after a 60-day agreement was announced, Trump bombed Iran, making clear that neither he nor the Israeli government can be trusted to keep their word on a ceasefire.

You can contact your representative by filling out the form found here

Call To Action: Deep Canvassing

Indivisible Twin Cities members interested in turning Congress blue have a great opportunity, especially in Congressional District 1 defeating Finstad and electing Jake Johnson! Take Action Minnesota, in collaboration with Indivisible Twin Cities and other chapters, is launching a deep canvassing drive beginning August 1, with trainings now. Deep canvassing means knocking on doors and asking voters questions to help them realize who will better serve their district. Trainings will include techniques for asking and answering questions. If interested, please sign up for either training:

  • Tuesday July 21st at 6-8:30 pm (hybrid in St. Paul and online)

  • Saturday July 25th at 10 am-12:30 pm (in person only in Minneapolis)

You can register for one or both trainings here.

It would be great if ITC could form a team to canvas together! If you are interested, please also email win2026@indivisibletwincities.org and specify you would like to help in Congressional District 1.
